Once your bond is approved and posted at the jail, you will be processed out of the jail and released soon after. If you are still at the Central Booking facility downtown, you will be released from the Travis County Jail at 10 th and San Antonio St. This release process can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours after your bond is posted. If you have been in jail for more than 2 days and you were transferred to the Del Valle Correctional facility, you will be released from that facility near the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Release times from the Del Valle facility usually take 1 to 3 hours. All of your belongings that were in your pockets or purse will be returned to you as you are booked out of the jail. If your vehicle was towed, the jail will provide you with the name address and towing company of the place where your car is located.
